Robert Flood proudly shares with everyone and anyone that he graduated from the Mission’s New Life Program on March 17, 2004. For the past eight years, he has been working hard to be the best dad he can be to his 8-year-old daughter, Helen. Robert’s desire is to do everything he can to point Helen to Jesus, steering her by God’s grace away from the pitfalls he fell into during his own journey.
As a new graduate of the Mission’s program, Robert would routinely bring Helen as an infant and then toddler to the Mission’s Alumni Meetings. Over the years, Robert has worked hard to raise Helen to know and love God.
As an active member of Canaan Baptist Church, Robert served this year as the coordinator for the annual dinner that Canaan Baptist’s Missionaries prepare for the men of the New Life Program and the chapel service that follows. Helen informs people that next year (when she’s 9), she wants to practice a song on her flute to share as a special selection in the chapel service that will follow Canaan’s annual dinner.
It’s been a real joy to see Robert faithfully serving the Lord and walking with Him all these years. And it’s a special delight to watch him lovingly teach his daughter Helen a lifestyle of love and service!
