Dear Friend of the Whosoever Gospel Mission,Bob close up

It is hard to believe, but we are quickly coming to the end of another fiscal year on September 30, 2013. As we come to the end of our fiscal year, we are teetering on the edge of finishing the year either in the black (which is good ) or in the red (which is bad ). We need your help to push us over into the black by September 30th. As a nonprofit organization, it is important for us to finish our fiscal year with all of our cash expenses paid. Here are a few reasons why we need your kind and generous help at this time to end our fiscal year in the black:

  • Private grant-making foundations are often hesitant to fund organizations that operate with a deficit. Your generous gift today helps to provide financial stability in our new fiscal year beginning October 1st.
  • We have worked hard to “squeeze a nickel out of every penny!” At this point, we need additional money to end our fiscal year in the black. It won’t happen any other way.
  • We haven’t been able to give many of our staff raises for the last few years. They work hard and are not paid big bucks to begin with. We really want to help our staff provide for themselves and support their families. Two of our staff members have children in college – the bills are piling up. Ending our fiscal year in the black gives us the green light to provide much needed raises for our dedicated and hard working staff.
  • Your gift is an investment in the lives of our men. Your support gives our men a hand-up and not a handout. Finishing the year in the black frees us up to focus more on helping our men than figuring out how to pay our bills.
  • We are still planning to one day open up a new facility for homeless mothers and their children. If we are unable to sustain our present ministry to homeless men, we won’t be able to start a new much needed ministry for homeless moms and their kids in the future.

Please send your gift in by September 30th to push us into the black. Thanks so much!
