Home. It’s more than a place to stay. It’s a place of refuge and safety. A place to belong, to be loved, to be understood. A place where family surrounds us in our grief and in our joy.
That’s what the Whosoever Gospel Mission has become to hundreds of homeless men who have come to the Mission, weary and hurting, looking for a place to rest and a chance to start over.
Many graduates of the Mission’s New Life Program share that the Mission is still home to them. It’s where they experienced the love of Christ, built meaningful relationships and enjoyed sweet fellowship, some for the first time. They look forward to visiting, or coming home, to share in holiday festivities and other special occasions, or just to catch a meal and some ping pong with friends.
Here at the Mission we strive to excel in the little things that help transform the Mission into a comfortable and welcoming home. From overflowing barrels of brilliant petunias at our front door to flowers on each dining room table, festive decorations, holiday traditions, special celebrations, birthday banners and inviting lounges, the Mission truly becomes a home to the homeless.
Thanks for your part in making the Mission a place men can call home. We couldn’t do it without your partnership with us.
